The Series, Allegory of the Cave refers to Plato’s story. In the allegory, Plato talked about prisoners chained inside a dark cave since birth. They only saw the wall in front of them. Behind the prisoners, a fire burned. Between the fire and the prisoners was a street with people walking past. The prisoners saw only the shadows of people passing by and their sounds. The prisoners believed the shadows on the wall was reality. One prisoner was freed. At first, the sunlight was painful, and the prisoner was blinded by reality. Eventually, their eyes adjusted. At the time of Covid, I nestled in the cave, preferring the shadows on the wall.
