This series of collages, mixed medias, and traditional oils fill in the gaps of unrecorded history. The show is the manifestation of the inevitable process of the material becoming immaterial filtered through socioeconomic, ecological, and cultural strainers. Works embedded with joss funeral paper, used in traditional ancestral worship, serve as a visual dirge, a celebration for the forgotten, missing pieces to the puzzle.
